Material and Pricing .






Material used for making the design and cost of material used for the design are assessed on the condition of design work for a length of 50 inch border of saree with each tassel placed in a gap of one inch along .

Material used

1. Silk thread spool , single color
     cost of the spool vary from INR 12 to INR 20

2. Round beads  , small in size , diameter of 0.5mm
    
    Number of beads 200 or  2 lines of a bunch
   sold as bunch of 10 lines with length  of 25 cm
   Cost of bunch varies from INR 40 - 60


3. Round beads , medium size , diameter of 2 mm
     Number of beads 450 or 4 lines of a bunch
     Sold as bunch of 10 lines with length of 50 cm
     Cost of bunch varies from INR 60 - 80


4. Round beads , above medium size , diameter of 5 mm
     Number of beads 150 or 3 lines of a bunch
     Sold as bunch of 10 lines with a length of 60 cm
     Cost of bunch varies from INR 90 - 120


5. Design will consume an average time of 2-3 hours, for which the     making charges may be around 100 to  250 depending on              craftmanship of the work

The total cost of material , if bought at minimum price has to be around INR 50-70 , adding making charges to it as INR 150 .

The design cannot be priced under INR 220-230.

The upper price may reach to INR 350- 400, where the availability of material  price is on higher end.

The customized design may be priced between INR 400 - 600, in  case of  guiding the perfect design for saree as per customer satisfaction in urban areas.

The design is finished with a single color silk thread and 1mm size matte pearl beads .  Design requires  single spool of silk thread .The size of the silk thread tassel must be of 250- 300 strands .The less number of strands makes tassel looks thin.  Matte pearl beads  are sold as bunch of 10 lines ,each line  is of length 10cm -15 cm.
