Tassel of the week This design is made on silk saree. The minimum requirement of material and elegant look of the design , will definitely make it one of the favorite work on saree. For this design , I have used  1)white color pearl beads of 50gms, the size of the bead is 2mm radius. These costed me around INR 20/10 g. 2) Gold color ring beads of 25 gms, Radius 2.5mm, this costed me around INR 20/10 grams 3) Leaf beads, almost 10 gms was sufficient for a.50 inch saree border design 4)Gold color spherical beads 1.5 mm radius of 5 grams, which costed me around 20 rupees. 5) 50 gms of small gold color spherical beads of radius 0.5mm. 6) Blue color Silk thread , which matches with the color of saree border. The real craftwork lies in the patience and perfect color choosing for the saree design.             Saree kuchu design #459   Facebook      Twitter Another simple design for normal saree, light color sarees can be upgraded in look with this design.  The design needs gold color coated plastic leaf beads , which are commonly used for aree works. we have used beads of length 0.5cm in size, these would make  us spend around 15 rupees to 25 rupees per 10 grams . Design requires 20 grams Square prism beads of 0.2cm long , we have used brass beads for this  , this would cost  around 15 rupees to 20 rupees per 10 grams. Design needs 20 grams Silk thread tassel is made up of 280 strands and a tassel must be placed at every inch along the border of 50 inch . Thread spool may cost around 15 rupees to 20 rupees. The design is finished with a single color silk thread and 1mm size matte pearl beads .  Design requires  single spool of silk thread .The size of the silk thread tassel must be of 250- 300 strands .The less number of strands makes tassel looks thin.  Matte pearl beads  are sold as bunch of 10 lines ,each line  is of length 10cm -15 cm.
