This design is simple and can be finished  in less time . We made this design for simple  wear saree. Choosing the  matching color silk thread with respect to saree color and for matching designs on border of saree  is important job here.

Light color casual wear  sarees can easily fit for the design. At the same time cost of making has to be less, so that we can change the tassel easily whenever required . Fashion is changing every day, cant afford to buy a new saree every day or for every occasion, but we can change tassel easily .

If you are trying to sell tassel work ,important thing to remember is beauty of saree lies in craftwork and  presentation after finishing tassel .

craftwork lies in hands ,  cant buy it or sell it on a price tag .

Hard work made for the design cant be  degraded by low price  offered by customers. It depends on us, how we value handicraft work. Price of design cannot be accurate, no matter how much we say .

Now lets get into details of design material




1. Matte pearl beads , diameter 4mm
    
 Requirement : 200 beads , these are sold as bunch of 10 lines .Each line length is 15 to     20 cm.

 Price of bunch is between INR 90  - 120 .

2.Matte pearl beads , diameter 2mm

Requirement : 300 beads , these are sold as bunch of 10 lines .Each of  line length is 15 to 20 cm.

 Price of bunch is between INR 70  - 90 .

3. Silk thread spools, two colors made for using tassels.

4 Gold color zari thread  to tie tassels.

5. cotton thread for stitching tassel to saree, 1 spool.

6. Design can be finished in one or one and half  hours, so working charges will be from INR 100 - 200, depending on your Craftwork finishing.

If you shop  material at low price, and work out as average  finishing, the design will price INR 300 in cities.

In  small cities and rural areas price will be different, as it  completely dependent on material availability and demand supply in competition for work.

The above design material  is calculated for a 50 tassels requirement to stitch along 50 inch border.

    How do u take the stands of silk thread for crochet designs?.. how to unwind the spool to crochet with 6-7 stands of thread? Tips plz
