Material used for the design 

For making a tassel work  for 50 inch length of saree border

 The materials cost is assessed for making one tassel/one inch .

Totally 50 tassels are worked for a single saree
   
   1.Silk thread  , two colours
       280 strands for each tassel
       Silk thread spool cost INR 15  to INR 25

   2.  Rice beads big size 
         Used 2 lines of a 10 line bunch 
          Each line is if length 20cm each
         Cost of the bunch INR 40 to INR 90

   3. Four petal flower pot beads 
         Used 50gms 
          Cost of beads is INR 10/ 10gms to INR 25/ 10gms.
        
  Design making cost INR 150 to 200
  
Total cost of making with average quality material INR 230/- with cost of material assuming minimum.

If the material is acquired at maximum , design cannot be priced under INR 400

If material availability is cheap and if you buy even low quality material  ,  where design material fades after single wash ,the design can be even offered for INR 100.

The design cost will increase with quality material availability, where design work may last for 6-12 dry washes .

The price will start from INR  400 to INR 700 in metro cities, urban areas.
